Introduction
Hi! I am the founder of Wild Lilac Counseling as well as one of the counselors here. This area is to give you a little background on why I started this practice, my style as a therapist and me as human!
So first, why Wild Lilac Counseling? Well, the name holds special meaning to me because, it was inspired by my children's initials, "W" and "L." I also love wild lilacs and the symbolism of them. Wild lilacs are known for their resilience and ability to bloom in challenging conditions. To me, they represent something I see in so many of my clients, the capacity to grow, strengthen and flourish even when life feels difficult or overwhelming.
At the heart of Wild Lilac Counseling is a simple belief: every person deserves to feel seen, heard, understood, and valued. Not because they've earned it, achieved something, or have everything figured out, but because their life, experiences, and story matter.

My Style as a Therapist
My style as a therapist is warm, down to earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation in a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. My goal is to offer both compassionate support and practical tools that help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, learning to set boundaries, working through a difficult season, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I'm here to walk alongside you as you grow, heal, and move forward.
Fun Facts
When I'm not in the office, you'll usually find me spending time with my kids, getting together with family and friends, squeezing in a workout, or heading to a Pilates class. I have spent a good portion of my life being an athlete and still love playing volleyball, golf (not well haha), and other sports for fun whenever I get the chance.
I love reading, writing, drawing and baking.
I'm also a die-hard Cleveland sports fan. You'll often find me cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, Browns, and Cavaliers through all of the highs and lows that comes with being a loyal Cleveland fan.
And while I spend my days having meaningful conversations, I will admit that reality TV is my favorite guilty pleasure, because balance, right?
I see clients in person in Westlake, Ohio as well as virtually throughout the state of Ohio.
I am also a Telehealth Registered Professional Counselor and see people virtually in South Carolina https://llr.sc.gov/TeleHealth/Counselor.html
